Yoga & Meditation

In these classes we spend about half our time with an asana/pranayama (body and breath) practice whose focus prepares us for the meditation that completes the second half of the class.

In this way the body and breath become the support for the mind and so encourage a deeply focused and reflective meditation.

We often use bhavana ( visualisation), hasta mudra-s (hand gestures) and mantra in these classes.
